Some Pointers for Keeping Fresh Sweet Corn at its Best at the Retail Level

• Store Fresh Sweet Corn Cold! The best temperature range is 33°F to 36°F, with 95% humidity. Remember: Even though most of today's varieties stay sweet longer than earlier sweet corn varieties, especially supersweet, it will become tough if not kept cold.
   
• Trim shanks from ears. If tray packing the corn, remove the husks and silks to preserve maximum moisture.
   
• Sell Fresh Sweet Corn two to three days of receiving it.
